Rajasthan Shala Darpan has established its identity in an unprecedented form of school management software for all states in India. Currently, effective management of schemes related to over 83 lakh students, more than 4 lakh staff, offices, school education, including various beneficial programs, examination results, recruitments, establishment applications, admission registrations, is being efficiently carried out in Rajasthan's 70,000+ government schools at all levels through data-driven awareness. Recently, all activities for teacher awards were implemented through Shala Darpan. Similarly, the appointment of new teachers and all related procedures, including document verification and school allotment, are being conducted through Shala Darpan. Under your guidance, the School Education Department has achieved several world records recently, in which Shala Darpan has played a significant role in compiling accelerated statistics.

Currently, each staff member's daily attendance is being recorded online on the Shala Darpan portal. Furthermore, students' regular attendance is also being recorded class-wise online. However, for a long time, there has been a felt need for student-wise daily attendance for various state government schemes such as Mid-Day Meal, Transport Voucher, Teacher-Student Average Attendance, Examination Results, and more. Following your directions, the 'Shala Darpan-Shikshak' mobile app has been developed through NIC to address the necessity of daily attendance tracking on a student basis. With this app, class teachers and every student will be able to easily record attendance daily in a very straightforward manner. This app can also function offline.

In addition to this functionality, the app includes provisions for staff to record their own attendance. This feature will only be available when staff members are present within the school premises. Initially, this will only be operational for PEEO schools and will also allow for leave applications by staff through the same app.
